Destination Wedding Makeup Artist in Jaipur
Jaipur weddings are long, bright and heavily photographed — fort courtyards at noon, a baraat down a palace driveway, pheras that can run past sunrise. Tejaswini flies in with one continuous beauty plan for every function: makeup, hairstyling and draping, built for Rajasthan's dry heat and hard daylight, and for the North Indian, Punjabi and Marwari styling most Jaipur families want. Destination bridal looks start at ₹50,000 per look, with travel and stay quoted separately.
- Makeup, hair & draping by one artist
- From ₹50,000 per look
- Punjabi, Marwari & North Indian styling
- Long-wear finish for Rajasthan heat
Bridal work by Tejaswini
Judge the work first. The rest is just words.
These are photographs of Tejaswini's real bridal work — North Indian, Punjabi and Marwari looks of the kind Jaipur families usually ask for. They are not presented as photographs taken at a Jaipur wedding. Tejaswini is based in Pune and travels to Jaipur for booked weddings; genuine Jaipur wedding photography will be added here as it becomes available.

Watch, don't just read
Four short clips of real bridal work.
Photographs are edited; video is harder to hide behind. These four clips show the base, the finish and how far the look changes between functions. They play here, on tap, with no autoplay.
The Jaipur wedding week
Four functions, four different problems to solve.
A Jaipur wedding rarely sits still. One function is outdoors at 11am in dry heat, the next is under warm tungsten in a palace courtyard, the pheras may start before sunrise. Each of those needs a different base, a different level of definition and a different hold. This is the starting framework Tejaswini adapts to your face, outfits and jewellery.
Outdoors, in full daylight
Mehendi & haldi
A light, breathable base that survives sun, turmeric and several hours of sitting still with wet mehendi — and still reads fresh on camera rather than flat.
Built to survive the dance floor
Sangeet & cocktail
More definition, deliberately, because artificial light flattens a face. Set to hold through choreography, a long night and the inevitable group photographs at the end.
The look everyone remembers
Wedding & pheras
Makeup, hairstyle, dupatta drape and the balance against heavy kundan or polki planned as one decision — with the weight of the jewellery accounted for before it goes on.
A clean break from the wedding day
Reception
Deliberately different from the pheras look, so the album does not repeat itself — usually sleeker hair, a lighter palette and a sharper finish.
Built for Rajasthan
Jaipur is a hard place to keep makeup honest.
Dry air, strong daylight, sandstone that throws warm light back onto the face, and functions that run from dawn to well past midnight. These are the specific things Tejaswini plans for before she picks a single product.
Heat and long wear
Products and layering are chosen for hold through a long day, so the base does not break down between the ceremony and the last set of photographs.
Dry air, not humid air
Rajasthan dries skin out rather than making it sweat. Prep is weighted towards hydration and barrier work, which is a different problem from a coastal wedding.
Sandstone and warm light
Pink-city stone and palace lighting both push warmth back onto the skin. Tone and contour are set against that, not against a neutral studio mirror.
HD, drone and video
Jaipur weddings are filmed as much as photographed. The finish is built for close-range HD and for wide drone shots, where a heavy base shows immediately.
Dawn muhurats
If your pheras fall at an early-morning muhurat, the call time moves backwards accordingly — planned in advance rather than improvised on the night.
Touch-ups where they matter
Touch-up points are agreed around your timeline — before the varmala, before the couple portraits, before the reception entry.
Styling traditions
Punjabi, Marwari, Sikh and North Indian brides.
Jaipur draws families from across North India and from the diaspora. The jewellery, the drape and the register of the look change with each tradition, and those differences are the point — not a detail to smooth over.
Marwari & Rajasthani
Borla, rakhdi and a heavier gold register, with the maang tikka placement and the drape planned together rather than adjusted at the last minute.
Punjabi & Sikh
Chooda, kalire, a dupatta that has to sit for hours, and hairstyling that holds under the weight of a heavy mathapatti.
North Indian
Kundan, polki and red-and-gold classics, balanced so the jewellery leads and the makeup supports it instead of competing.
Mixed-tradition weddings
Two families, two sets of expectations. The look can be pitched to sit comfortably in both sets of photographs.

Planning & logistics
How a Jaipur booking actually runs.
Most of what goes wrong at destination weddings is scheduling, not artistry. This is how the timeline is set before anyone travels.
01 · Date check
Send the date, the venue and your function list on WhatsApp. Availability is confirmed first — there is no point discussing anything else until the date is free.
02 · Written quote
An itemised written quote follows, with the bridal looks, family looks and travel shown as separate lines rather than one bundled figure.
03 · Consultation
Once the date is booked, a consultation is scheduled at no extra charge — face to face in Pune or on a video call — to settle the look for each function, your outfits and jewellery, and the skin prep for the weeks beforehand.
04 · Ready-by times
Every function's ready-by time is worked backwards from the actual muhurat, baraat or entry time, with buffer for fort and palace venues that sit outside the city.
05 · Arrival
Arrival into Jaipur is planned ahead of the first function, not on the morning of it, so a delayed flight is never the thing that decides how your mehendi looks.
06 · The getting-ready room
What is needed at your end: a room with a mirror, a power point and somewhere to sit. Tejaswini brings her own kit and lighting.
07 · Family & bridesmaids
Extra artists can be booked for the mother, the sisters and the bridesmaids, so nobody is waiting and the bride's own slot stays untouched. Priced per person.
08 · Coordination
Call times go directly to whoever is running the day, so the beauty schedule is part of the wedding schedule instead of running alongside it.
Jaipur venues
Palace, fort or resort — the plan changes with the venue.
A courtyard wedding inside a heritage palace and a lawn wedding at a resort on the city's edge are different jobs: different light, different travel time, different call times. Tejaswini is available to travel for weddings at Jaipur's well-known venues. These are informational listings only — not confirmed past bookings and not venue partnerships.
NRI & overseas families
Planning a Jaipur wedding from London, New Jersey or Dubai.
A large share of Jaipur's wedding calendar belongs to families who no longer live in India. That changes what the planning has to look like: fewer visits, tighter trips, and everything settled before anyone boards a flight.
Video consultation, your time zone
The look for each function, your outfits and jewellery, and the skin-prep plan are all settled on a call scheduled around your hours — not India's.
Quotes in writing, before you fly
Dates and venue by WhatsApp or email, an itemised written quote in return, with travel shown separately. Nothing is left to be negotiated after you land.
One trip, every function
Families flying in usually compress everything into one week. Tejaswini's arrival is planned around that full week, so there is no second booking and no gap between functions.
Guest and family looks
Mothers, sisters, bridesmaids and visiting relatives can be scheduled in the same window, quoted per person, per look.
A look that travels
Photographs from an Indian wedding are seen by people in several countries. The finish is pitched so it reads well in Indian sunlight and on a screen in another hemisphere.
Jet lag and skin
Long-haul flights, dry cabin air and a sudden climate change all show on the skin. Prep advice is given for the days before, not just the morning of.

Questions
What Jaipur couples actually ask.
Does Tejaswini travel to Jaipur for destination weddings?
Yes. Tejaswini is based in Pune and travels to Jaipur for booked weddings, bringing her own kit and lighting. She does not run a studio in Jaipur - she comes to your hotel or venue.
How much does bridal makeup cost for a Jaipur wedding?
Destination bridal looks start at ₹50,000 per look, which includes makeup, hairstyling and draping. Family looks are ₹25,000 per look and groom grooming is ₹10,000. Travel, accommodation and local transport are quoted separately.
What is included in the Rs 50,000 bridal price?
One complete bridal look - makeup, hairstyling and saree or dupatta draping, all done by Tejaswini herself. Additional looks for other functions, family and bridesmaid services, travel, stay and local transport are quoted separately.
Does she handle hairstyling and draping, or only makeup?
All three. Makeup, hairstyling and draping are treated as one decision rather than three separate bookings, which is why the drape, the jewellery placement and the hair are planned together.
Can she cover a full multi-day Jaipur wedding?
Yes. Arrival and scheduling are planned around your complete function list, so mehendi, haldi, sangeet, the pheras and the reception are all covered on one trip rather than as separate bookings.
Will the makeup hold in Jaipur heat?
That is planned for from the start. Products and layering are chosen for long wear in dry Rajasthani heat, prep is weighted towards hydration because the air dries skin rather than making it sweat, and touch-up points are agreed around your timeline.
Does she do Marwari and Rajasthani bridal looks?
Yes. Marwari and Rajasthani styling - borla, rakhdi and a heavier gold register - is part of her regular bridal work, alongside Punjabi, Sikh and North Indian looks.
Our pheras are at an early morning muhurat. Is that a problem?
No. Ready-by times are worked backwards from the actual muhurat, so an early morning ceremony simply moves the call time earlier. It is planned in advance rather than decided the night before.
Can a bride living abroad plan her look remotely?
Yes. The look for each function, your outfits and jewellery, and the skin-prep plan are settled over a video call scheduled in your time zone, with the written quote shared by WhatsApp or email before you travel.
Are family and bridesmaid looks available?
Yes. Family looks are ₹25,000 each, and extra artists can be booked for the mother, the sisters and the bridesmaids at a per-person rate, so none of it eats into the bride's own time slot.
Is a trial available before the wedding?
Once your date is confirmed, the look gets settled in a consultation that costs nothing extra — face to face in Pune or on a video call — going through your outfits, jewellery and the function list. A separate in-person trial in Jaipur is rarely practical once travel is factored in.
How early should we enquire?
As soon as your Jaipur date and venue are fixed. Destination dates need more lead time than a local booking because travel, stay and a multi-day schedule all have to be planned around them.
How does booking and payment work?
Share your date, venue and functions on WhatsApp and you will receive a written, itemised quote with travel shown separately. Confirm the package, the looks, travel and stay in writing before paying any booking amount.
Can she coordinate with our planner or photographer in Jaipur?
Yes. The call sheet goes straight to whoever is running the day — planner, photographer or the venue team — so nobody is guessing when the bride will be ready.
