This is an India-based team: Tejaswini and her artists live and work in Pune and travel out for each booking. Destination work is planned months ahead, so flights and rooms are fixed long before the first function.
All travel-related costs for the team, including visas and rooms, are payable by the client in addition to the fee.

Planning outdoors
When the big functions happen outside.
Le Méridien’s indoor event space is a single glass-walled room of about 270 square metres, so larger Indian functions here are planned on the beach, lawns and gardens, often with marquees. That has two consequences for makeup.
First, more of the wedding happens in natural light, which is beautiful but honest: we build thinner bases and pay close attention to texture. Second, evening functions outdoors cool down quickly in spring and autumn, so we plan for a shawl and a hairstyle that still works with it.
The location is a real advantage for a wedding with guests flying in: being close to the airport cuts transfer times for the whole party, including the bridal team.
