Sirmione · Lake Garda
Statues, fountains and old trees in a walled park, and a jetty that runs out into the lake. Villa Cortine is the classic villa wedding at Sirmione.

Tejaswini’s studio is in Pune, India, and there is no Italian branch or local stand-in working under her name. She travels for weddings and pre-wedding shoots, arriving ahead of the first function and staying until the last.
Return flights, Schengen visas and accommodation for the team are paid by the client and appear on separate lines of the quote.

Function by function

Soft daylight bouncing off the lake. Fresh, dewy skin with SPF, a sheer flush and hair pinned up and off the shoulders for the mehendi artists.

Warm evening light, mirrors and dancing. Deeper eyes, a base set to survive a full dance floor and hair secured for movement.

Afternoon sun on water and pale stone. A satin finish that holds detail without flashing white, waterproof eyes and a dupatta pinned for the lake breeze.

Candlelight and chandeliers with a photographer at every table. Lower shine on the T-zone, defined lashes and a richer lip.

A little history
Sirmione is one of the most visited places on Lake Garda, with a moated castle at the gate of its old town and Roman ruins at its tip. Villa Cortine sits in its own walled park on the peninsula, far enough from the crowds to feel private.
The villa was built as a private residence in the early 20th century and later became a hotel. Its park, with fountains, statuary and tall trees, runs down to the water, and the long jetty is one of the most photographed spots on the lake.
For a bride, the park gives shade, which is rare on sunny Garda. We use it for portraits and keep the brightest lakefront spots for the golden hour.
Specific to this venue
The wedding day
We ask for a room with good window light and a second room close by for family makeup, so the bride’s room stays calm.
Family looks run in parallel with the bridal skin prep, timed so nobody waits in the corridor.
Hydration, primer and a base built for dappled park light and bright lakefront sun.
Maang tikka, nath and dupatta set with the outfit on, checked from every angle the photographer will use.
First photographs while the makeup is at its freshest, before the busiest part of the day.
One artist stays near the mandap with a touch-up kit: blotting papers, powder, lip and spare pins.
New lip, refreshed eyes and a second hairstyle if planned; allow 60–75 minutes.

Tejaswini
Tejaswini has styled more than a thousand Indian brides since 2012. At Villa Cortine she plans the day around shade and sun: a soft, even base for portraits under the park trees, a long-wear finish for the lakeside pheras and a warmer evening look for the terrace.

Villa Cortine questions

In a suite in the villa, ideally with a large window onto the park. A second room nearby works for family makeup.
Yes, but the old town has traffic restrictions. Your planner arranges vehicle permits or golf-cart transfers if needed.
The jetty is better for portraits; ceremonies usually happen on the lawn. We plan the wind-proof hairstyle either way.
The shaded park suits a daytime mehendi well, especially in early summer.
