Your wedding functions
Planning an Indian wedding at Il Borro? For a Florence villa or Tuscan estate wedding, confirm accommodation for the artists and a dedicated getting-ready room. Countryside travel and outfit changes should be built into the schedule before setting the ceremony portrait time.
Plan your wedding-day makeup with the hairstyle, saree or lehenga draping, dupatta and jewellery placement. Share skin preferences and reference looks so the finish suits your outfit and the ceremony light.
Build a lighter look for daytime celebrations and a more defined look for the sangeet or cocktail evening. Each booked function has its own ready-by time and outfit-change plan.
Discuss soft glam or a more defined evening finish, the reception hairstyle and the time needed to change after the ceremony. HD makeup preferences can be discussed at consultation; product choices depend on your skin and look.
Share a list of mothers, sisters, bridesmaids and other guests who need makeup and hairstyling. The quote confirms the number of artists and which services are booked for each person.
Italy wedding makeup prices are quoted for your dates, functions and team size. Ask for an itemised quote separating bridal services, family makeup, agreed touch-ups and travel. Confirm flights, accommodation, meals, local transfers and the documentation needed for each travelling artist before booking. There is no fixed package price for every Italian venue.
Punjabi, Sikh, Hindu, South Indian, Maharashtrian and other Indian and South Asian bridal traditions can have different hair, jewellery and draping requirements. Share the ceremony details when enquiring; venue permission for the ceremony is arranged separately by your planner.
Read the studio’s Pune bridal makeup package guide for context, then request a separate Italy destination quote.

Function by function

Mehendi among the vineyards. A barely-there base, sun-kissed bronzer and a playful braid.

Sangeet in the village piazza with lanterns and stone walls. Copper smoky eyes and a dance-proof base.

Pheras on a lawn with wooded hills behind. Satin skin, a classic red lip and pins set for buggy rides across the estate.

Dinner in the medieval village by candlelight. A richer lip, warm glow and more definition at the lash line.

A little history
Il Borro is an ancient estate in the Valdarno whose medieval village sits on a rocky spur above a stream. The Ferragamo family bought it in the 1990s and restored the village, the villa and the farm.
Today it is a hotel and wine estate with suites in the old village houses, a villa for larger groups, farmhouses among the vineyards and restaurants that use produce from its own organic farm.
For an Indian wedding, the estate’s size is the point: a mehendi in one corner, a sangeet in another and pheras on a lawn with the hills behind, all without leaving the property.
Specific to this venue
Illustrative beauty schedule only. Your planner confirms venue access, ceremony permissions and room availability; Tejaswini confirms the services and touch-up attendance in your quote.
The wedding day
We ask for a room with good window light and a second room close by for family makeup, so the bride’s room stays calm.
Family looks run in parallel with the bridal skin prep, timed so nobody waits in the corridor.
Hydration, primer and a base built for open countryside light and lantern-lit evenings.
Maang tikka, nath and dupatta set with the outfit on, checked from every angle the photographer will use.
Vineyard portraits in the golden hour, with buggies arranged for the bride.
Distances on the estate are long; an artist travels with the bride to the mandap.
The village is lit by lanterns and candles, so the evening look adds warmth. Allow 60–75 minutes for the change.

Tejaswini
Tejaswini has styled more than a thousand Indian brides since 2012. At Il Borro she plans each function for its corner of the estate: a fresh, light look among the vines, a warmer smoky eye for the village sangeet and a long-wear golden-hour look for the pheras.
