Why the design matters
Minimal spaces show everything.
Most luxury hotels in Bodrum are colourful or traditional. The EDITION is the opposite: neutral stone, white linen and lots of natural light. In a space like that, heavy contour or glitter looks out of place in photographs, and texture shows at close range.
So we plan a lighter hand: a thin, skin-like base, cream blush, defined lashes and a lip that suits the outfit rather than competes with it. For the pheras, a traditional red bridal look still works beautifully; it simply needs a softer finish.
The hotel has 108 rooms, suites and villas, a spa with hammam, and restaurants including Kitchen by Osman Sezener. It is best for weddings of under about 150 guests, often with a welcome dinner at the beach club and the main functions on the terraces.

Most EDITION weddings we would plan are compact: a welcome evening at the beach club, a mehendi or sangeet on a terrace and the pheras by the water at golden hour. The hotel’s nightclub and late bar suit an after-party for friends.
Because guest numbers are small, the team is small too, often two artists. That keeps the bride’s room calm, and it keeps costs sensible when travel and visas are paid separately.
Yalıkavak marina is a few minutes away, with superyachts, cafés and shops for guests, and a dramatic backdrop for a couple’s walk before dinner.
