Travel, Schengen visa and stay costs for every team member are the client’s responsibility, always shown separately.

A little history
Vincigliata was a medieval castle that had fallen into ruin when John Temple Leader, an English politician who settled in Florence, bought it in the 1850s and rebuilt it in a romantic Gothic style. Queen Victoria visited it, and it became one of the sights of 19th-century Florence.
Today it is used for weddings and private events, with courtyards and a cloister for ceremonies and halls for dinners, surrounded by woods and olive terraces.
For makeup, a castle means stone and shade. We plan where the bride gets ready, usually at a hotel in Florence or Fiesole, and keep a touch-up room inside the walls.
The venue at a glance
A planning summary from public information about the property. Your planner confirms spaces, capacities and permissions for each function.
The wedding day
We ask for a room with good window light and a second room close by for family makeup, so the bride’s room stays calm.
Family looks run in parallel with the bridal skin prep, timed so nobody waits in the corridor.
Hydration, primer and a base built for stone courtyards in sun and shade, candlelight at night.
Maang tikka, nath and dupatta set with the outfit on, checked from every angle the photographer will use.
First photographs while the makeup is at its freshest, before the busiest part of the day.
One artist stays near the mandap with a touch-up kit: blotting papers, powder, lip and spare pins.
New lip, refreshed eyes and a second hairstyle if planned; allow 60–75 minutes.

Function by function

Shade and sun in turns inside old walls. A sheer, even base that photographs the same in both.

Stone halls and theatrical lighting. Defined eyes, sculpted cheeks and a base that will not look flat in low light.

Towers, battlements and a wide sky. A classic red look built for strong side-light and an outdoor ceremony.

Candlelit vaults and long tables. Warm glow, richer lip colour and lashes that read across a big room.

Tejaswini
Tejaswini has styled more than a thousand Indian brides since 2012. At Vincigliata she plans a long-wear look for sun on stone, a warmer, more defined look for candlelit halls and a touch-up routine for the drive up from Florence.
