Town for guests
Guests can explore Bodrum’s marina and old streets between functions.
Caresse is unusual: with 67 rooms, 9 suites and 7 residences it is a boutique resort, yet it lists weddings for up to about 500 guests. In practice, that means the closest family stay on site while other guests stay in nearby Bodrum hotels and join for the functions.
For the bridal team, it is important that the bride and the people who need makeup are in the resort itself. We plan the family makeup room around who is staying on site and ask the planner to bring guests needing makeup in at agreed times.
The Caresse King Villa, with two bedrooms and a terrace whirlpool, is an excellent bridal base: daylight, privacy and a terrace for the first portraits in the outfit.

Tejaswini
Meet your makeup artist
Tejaswini runs Tejaswini Makeup Studio & Academy in Baner, Pune, and has been an Indian bridal artist since 2012. For a Caresse wedding, where many guests stay outside the resort, she sets written arrival slots for everyone needing makeup so the bride’s time is protected.
