Beşiktaş · Atik Pasha mansion

A bridal makeup artist for Four Seasons at the Bosphorus

An Ottoman pasha’s mansion, a lawn that ends at the water and a ballroom large enough for a full reception. It is one of the calmest ways to host an Indian wedding in central Istanbul.

  • Waterfront wedding garden
  • 1,030 m² ballroom
  • 170 rooms and suites
  • India-based bridal team

Why families choose it

Five things that make this hotel work for an Indian wedding.

01

A garden on the water

The waterfront wedding lawn suits a mandap with the strait behind it, without the scale of a palace terrace.

02

A real ballroom

At just over 1,000 square metres, the ballroom handles a sangeet stage, a dance floor and a large reception.

03

Everyone under one roof

With 170 rooms, a mid-sized wedding can house the close family on site, which keeps the mornings simple.

04

A quieter rhythm

It feels residential rather than grand. Brides who want a relaxed getting-ready morning often prefer that.

05

Next door to Çırağan

The two hotels are neighbours on the same shore, so families sometimes host one function in each.

Getting ready here

The bridal suite, the spa and the walk to the lawn.

Rooms here are bright, with pale marble and glass, which is good news for makeup: a suite facing the water gives soft, even daylight for most of the morning. We ask for the bridal suite to be confirmed early so we can plan where the chair, the ring light and the outfit rail go.

Spa early in the week, makeup-friendly skin by the weekend.

The spa is a real asset during the wedding week, but timing matters. A hammam scrub or a deep facial two days before the wedding can leave skin reactive. We send the bride a skin calendar with the spa visits placed early in the week and gentle, hydrating treatments only in the final 48 hours.

The walk from the bridal suite to the waterfront garden is short, but a heavy lehenga on stone paths still takes time. We build those minutes into the schedule so the bride never arrives at the mandap flushed and hurried.

Two-day plan

One way to use the hotel’s spaces.

Day one
Afternoon

Mehendi on the lawn

Light, fresh makeup for the bride and a quick family session. Hair kept away from the hands and the henna.

Day one
Evening

Sangeet in the ballroom

A deeper, defined look with a stronger set. The team stays for a mid-evening touch-up.

Day two
Afternoon

Pheras in the wedding garden

Traditional bridal look, satin finish, pins and a touch-up kit at the mandap.

Day two
Night

Reception indoors

A second look for the ballroom: refreshed base, new lip, more glow.

Questions

Four Seasons Bosphorus weddings and bridal makeup.

Do you cover Indian weddings at Four Seasons Istanbul at the Bosphorus?

Yes. The team travels from India for the full event and handles bridal, family and bridal-party hair and makeup. Travel, visas and rooms are paid by the family.

Is the wedding garden suitable for pheras?

It is a popular choice for a mandap with the Bosphorus behind it. We plan the makeup for outdoor light and a breeze off the water.

Can we use the spa before the wedding?

Yes, but keep scrubs, peels and deep facials to early in the week. In the last two days, stick to gentle hydrating treatments so the base sits well.

How big a wedding fits at this hotel?

Its ballroom is just over 1,000 m². Very large guest lists sometimes move one function next door to Çırağan Palace.

Will the team stay at the hotel?

That is what we recommend, so early starts never depend on traffic. If rooms are limited, we will suggest the closest alternative.

How do we start?

Send us the dates and functions on WhatsApp. You will get a reply with availability and an itemised quote.
