Tejaswini began in engineering — and left it for the one thing that held her attention completely: making a bride look like the most composed, luminous version of herself. Fourteen years and more than a thousand brides later, she still leads every bridal look personally.
Her philosophy has never changed: skin first, tradition understood, and a face that still looks like you in every photograph. Today she also trains the next generation of artists through her own academy in Pune.
She arrived with her grandmother’s heirloom Nath and one wish: that it sit exactly right. The whole look was planned around it — restrained makeup, correct Saaj layering, a Nauvari finished before the muhurat — so the jewellery, and the memory, led.
She’d seen friends turned into someone else. We went skin-first and soft: her own features, only luminous. When she saw the mirror, she said the thing we most want to hear — that she still looked like herself.
