Ranthambore weddings are small on purpose: a restored fort, a jungle camp or a royal hunting lodge, a guest list that fits around a few long tables, and a tiger safari between functions. Tejaswini travels from Pune to style the bride in a way that suits that closeness. Bridal looks from ₹50,000; travel and stay at cost.

Ranthambore venue guides
Three places to marry near the park.
A fort, a tented camp and a 1930s lodge. Each guide covers rooms, light and the getting-ready plan. These are informational listings, not partnerships.
About Ranthambore
A tiger reserve with a thousand-year-old fort inside it.
Ranthambore National Park lies on the edge of the Aravalli and Vindhya hills near Sawai Madhopur. It was once the hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, and the ancient Ranthambore Fort still stands on a hill inside the park.
That royal history explains the wedding venues: the Maharaja's old hunting lodge, a restored fort at nearby Barwara and luxury camps at the edge of the forest. None are large, which is exactly why couples choose them.

Small weddings
What changes when every guest is close.
With fifty or a hundred guests, the bride is photographed from a few feet away all day. The makeup has to look like skin.
Texture first
A thin, well-blended base that looks real at arm's length, built up only where needed.
Natural light
Most functions happen outdoors or by windows, so the look is checked in daylight.
Fewer looks, better looks
Small weddings often have fewer functions, so each look gets more time.
Safari mornings
If guests go on safari at dawn, the bride's prep is scheduled around the jeeps.
Quiet getting ready
One room, one artist, no crowd. It is a calmer morning than a big wedding.
Family looks
An extra artist joins only if the family needs one.
