Milas coast · Kaplankaya
Olive groves, cypress trees and secluded beaches about an hour from Bodrum airport. A wedding at Kaplankaya is a retreat as much as a celebration, and the bride’s skin plan should start well before the makeup chair.

Setting
A wellness wedding
Six Senses is known for wellness, and Kaplankaya’s spa has a hammam, salt grotto, mud chamber, several pools and yoga and Pilates programmes. Many brides arrive early to make the most of it, which is wonderful for the skin as long as the timing is right.
The rule we give every bride is simple: anything that exfoliates, heats or stimulates the skin happens early in the week. In the final 48 hours, only gentle, hydrating care. That way the base sits flat and the skin glows naturally on the wedding day.
The resort’s remoteness also shapes logistics. The team must be on site, and any outside location for portraits, such as the ancient sites near Didim, needs a car and a time agreed in advance.

Tejaswini
Skin preparation is part of Tejaswini’s planning for every bride, and at Kaplankaya it becomes a calendar. In her planning conversations she places spa treatments early in the week and keeps the last 48 hours gentle, so the base she builds on the wedding morning sits perfectly.
