Travel, Schengen visa and stay costs for every team member are the client’s responsibility, always shown separately.

A little history
Villa Rufolo was built in the 13th century by the Rufolo family, wealthy merchants of medieval Ravello. Its cloister, with Arab-Norman arches, and its tall tower are among the oldest surviving buildings on the coast.
In 1880 Richard Wagner visited and is said to have found in its gardens the inspiration for a scene in Parsifal. Today the villa is a museum and garden, and every summer the Ravello Festival builds a stage over the sea here.
As a heritage site, it hosts ceremonies by arrangement, often around public opening hours. For makeup that means getting ready elsewhere, usually at a hotel a few minutes away, and a well-planned touch-up.

The wedding day
We ask for a room with good window light and a second room close by for family makeup, so the bride’s room stays calm.
Family looks run in parallel with the bridal skin prep, timed so nobody waits in the corridor.
Hydration, primer and a base built for sun-filled terraces and shaded cloisters.
Maang tikka, nath and dupatta set with the outfit on, checked from every angle the photographer will use.
First photographs while the makeup is at its freshest, before the busiest part of the day.
One artist stays near the mandap with a touch-up kit: blotting papers, powder, lip and spare pins.
New lip, refreshed eyes and a second hairstyle if planned; allow 60–75 minutes.

Function by function

Bright Mediterranean light and real heat. A light, sweat-resistant base, cream colour on the cheeks and a cool, high hairstyle.

Sea air and evening humidity. A matte-satin base that will not slide, sculpted eyes and a style that holds through hours of dancing.

Sun reflecting off the sea and white stone. Long-wear, humidity-proof products, no heavy highlighter and the dupatta fixed against wind.

Warm night light over the water. A refreshed base, a deeper lip and lashes that still read in candle-lit photographs.

Tejaswini
Tejaswini has styled more than a thousand Indian brides since 2012. At Villa Rufolo she plans a full look at a nearby hotel, a short, shaded walk to the ceremony and a satin finish that photographs well in both cloister shade and terrace sun.
