Tremezzo · Lake Como
A pale Art Nouveau façade, a pool floating on the lake and the best view of Bellagio. Grand Hotel Tremezzo is where many Tremezzina wedding weeks are based.

This is an India-based team: Tejaswini and her artists live and work in Pune and travel out for each booking. For Italy the team lands early, so nobody is rushed on the first morning.
The client covers the team’s airfare, Schengen visa fees and hotel rooms; these are quoted at cost, apart from the artist fee.

A little history
Grand Hotel Tremezzo opened in 1910, at the height of the Belle Époque, on the stretch of shore where Lake Como’s three arms meet. Its rooms look straight across the water to Bellagio, and its gardens sit beside Villa Carlotta’s famous botanical park.
Family-owned and restored over the years, it is best known today for its lakefront pool and terraces. For a wedding week it works as both base and venue: guests stay here, while ceremonies can happen at the hotel or at nearby villas.
For makeup the hotel is practical: proper rooms with daylight for getting ready, and short boat or car rides to Villa Balbiano and Villa del Balbianello for the ceremony.
Function by function

Soft daylight bouncing off the lake. Fresh, dewy skin with SPF, a sheer flush and hair pinned up and off the shoulders for the mehendi artists.

Warm evening light, mirrors and dancing. Deeper eyes, a base set to survive a full dance floor and hair secured for movement.

Afternoon sun on water and pale stone. A satin finish that holds detail without flashing white, waterproof eyes and a dupatta pinned for the lake breeze.

Candlelight and chandeliers with a photographer at every table. Lower shine on the T-zone, defined lashes and a richer lip.
The wedding day
We ask for a room with good window light and a second room close by for family makeup, so the bride’s room stays calm.
Family looks run in parallel with the bridal skin prep, timed so nobody waits in the corridor.
Hydration, primer and a base built for bright lake light on the terraces and warm light indoors.
Maang tikka, nath and dupatta set with the outfit on, checked from every angle the photographer will use.
First photographs while the makeup is at its freshest, before the busiest part of the day.
One artist stays near the mandap with a touch-up kit: blotting papers, powder, lip and spare pins.
New lip, refreshed eyes and a second hairstyle if planned; allow 60–75 minutes.

Tejaswini
Tejaswini has styled more than a thousand Indian brides since 2012 and has a simple rule for lake weddings: get ready where the light is best, then travel. At Grand Hotel Tremezzo that means a full look in a lake-view room, a touch-up plan for the boat and a finish that holds through an afternoon of reflected light.

About 10 to 15 minutes by boat, a little longer by road and footpath.
