Modern caves
Why Ariana’s design helps the makeup chair.
Most Cappadocia cave hotels are beautiful but dim: thick stone, small windows and warm lamps. Ariana mixes cave rooms with modernist buildings, so some rooms have far more natural light than is usual in the region. For a bride, that means truer colour while the makeup is being done.
Some rooms also have gas fireplaces or onyx bathtubs, which make memorable getting-ready photographs. The glass-walled restaurant, set among vines and gardens, is a lovely space for a dinner after the ceremony.
