Delhi–Jaipur highway · near Amer
Built for large celebrations, The Leela sits in the Aravalli foothills near Amer with a huge ballroom and open lawns. Big guest lists mean long days in the getting-ready room, so the schedule matters as much as the look.

Travel and costs
Tejaswini is based in Pune and arrives in Jaipur the day before your first function. She styles the bride personally; for large families, extra artists come with her and are quoted per person. Her travel is quoted separately from the looks, so you can see exactly what each part costs.

The setting
The Leela Palace Jaipur opened in 2021 on the Delhi highway at Kukas, a few kilometres beyond Amber Fort. Unlike Rambagh or Jai Mahal it was built new, and that shows in the practical things: wide corridors, generous back-of-house space and a ballroom with no pillars to hide a stage or a photographer.
It is roughly an hour from Jaipur airport, depending on traffic through the city. For a wedding that means the whole party stays on site, and the beauty team should too.
The look of the place is pale stone, domes and water features against brown Aravalli hills. In winter the evenings turn cold quickly, which affects both outfits and how a base sits on the skin.

As published by the hotel. The events team confirms layouts, mandap position and stage size for your functions.
Big guest list, long day
Mothers and sisters go first in a separate room, so the bride's slot is protected.
Prep, base, eyes, then hair and drape with the jewellery in hand.
Indoors, in corridors with window light, before the lawns get busy.
One final check of lip and dupatta pins.
Touch-up kit close to the mandap.
Refresh and change of hair if planned.

Planning the looks

Bright, reflective water and pale stone. Minimal base, waterproof liner and hair tied up before the turmeric arrives.

Stage lights and big screens magnify everything. Matte where it needs to be, with lashes and contour that read from the back of the room.

Open sky with the hills behind. Long-wear base, secure jewellery placement and a drape that stays put when you stand up from the mandap.

Up to 800 guests and a long receiving line. A fresh base, deeper lip and a sleek bun that survives three hours of photographs.

Tejaswini
Tejaswini has styled more than a thousand brides since 2012. Large Leela weddings reward planning more than speed, so she fixes the order of every person in the chair with you in writing, and keeps the bride's own time untouched however big the family is.
