We fly from India to Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech.

Tejaswini’s studio is in Pune, India. There is no Morocco office and no local artist working under our name. For your wedding at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, the same artists who planned your looks fly out from India, land at least two clear days before the first function and stay until the last one.

Because the team travels internationally, three things are always arranged and paid for by the client: return flights for each team member, their Morocco visa arrangements, and accommodation in Morocco. They sit on separate lines of the quote, so you always see exactly what is artist fee and what is travel. Below is exactly how a Morocco booking runs, step by step.

Step 1 · The wedding

Your looks, planned before we fly

  • Video consultation for every function: outfits, jewellery and references.
  • A written look-plan for mehndi, sangeet, wedding and reception.
  • Final bridal-party numbers confirmed about 60 days out — this sets the team size.
  • A trial after arrival is subject to availability, schedule and fees; agree it in the quotation.
Step 2 · Travel

Flights for the team

  • Team: Tejaswini plus hair and extra artists as your numbers need.
  • We send names, passport details and suggested timings; the client books and pays return flights.
  • Compare current routes to Marrakech, including transit requirements and checked-baggage allowances.
  • Please allow checked baggage — the kit travels with the team.
Step 3 · Visas

Morocco visa arrangements

  • Check each team member’s passport, visa eligibility and permissions for the planned professional services before booking travel.
  • The client covers agreed visa costs. The application route and responsibilities are confirmed in the written booking.
  • Confirm the required documents with the official visa portal or Moroccan consulate; application and border-entry requirements differ.
  • Start permission and visa checks early, allowing time for additional documents or a consular application.
Step 4 · Stay

Hotel and on-ground

  • Rooms for the team at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech or within a few minutes of it.
  • Twin-sharing is fine; what matters is being close to the bride for early starts.
  • Airport and venue transfers arranged with your planner or hotel.
  • A quiet room or corner near the bride’s suite for the kit.

Included in our fee

  • Bridal makeup and hairstyling for each booked function
  • Saree, lehenga and dupatta draping; jewellery setting
  • Family and bridal-party makeup, per person as quoted
  • All professional products and kit
  • Look planning, video consultations and touch-up support as agreed in the quotation

Arranged and paid by the client

  • Return flights from India for every team member
  • Applicable visa and permission costs for the team
  • Accommodation in Morocco for the full stay
  • Airport and local transfers between venues
  • Any excess baggage charges for the kit

Before travel is booked, confirm the team’s entry route and any permissions needed for paid bridal services with the Moroccan consulate and your planner. A guest’s tourist entry route should not be assumed to cover a working vendor. Check current eligibility on Accès Maroc. Trials and touch-up attendance must be listed in your quotation.

Scenes from around Marrakech, for atmosphere. These are not photographs of Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech.

Most guests stay in one of 54 villas, each with a private pool, a Jacuzzi and a walled garden; there are also suites with plunge pools looking over the gardens and the Atlas. The resort blends modern design with Moroccan craft, and its restaurants include Ling Ling by Hakkasan alongside Moroccan and garden dining.

Weddings are a stated speciality. The hotel’s wedding brochure offers a ballroom, several garden areas and poolside settings, with capacities that depend on the chosen space and event layout. The spa covers around 1,800 square metres and offers hammam rituals, and guests have access to nearby golf.

For an Indian wedding, the villa layout is the attraction: the bride, her parents and close family can each have private space with a pool and garden, while the ballroom and lawns carry the large functions. It works well for families who want privacy and scale at the same time.

Venue details checked against available official information in October 2026. Confirm event capacities, accommodation, vendor access, ceremony fire permissions, music curfews and a weather alternative in your venue contract. View the hotel’s official information. Your villa is your studioA private villa with a garden gives daylight and calm. Ask for the bride’s villa near the main event spaces to shorten every transfer.
Garden light, ballroom flashThe week moves from soft garden light to an indoor ballroom. The base is planned to work under both.
Rose-scented, not rose-tintedWith pink and red roses everywhere, blush and lip are chosen so the bride does not blend into the flowers in photographs.
Spa timingSchedule hammam and facials early in the week; strong exfoliation close to the wedding can leave skin reactive.

Getting-ready logistics

Practicalities at Mandarin Oriental.

Villas make the bride’s morning calmer — and the resort bigger to cross.

The resort is on the Route du Golf Royal, about fifteen minutes from the airport and outside the medina. The team should stay at the resort or very close, with rooms confirmed early so the appropriate travel applications can be completed.

The bride’s villa becomes the getting-ready suite: makeup by the garden doors for daylight, outfit and jewellery in the bedroom, first-look photographs in the garden. For a large bridal party, a second villa or suite nearby takes family makeup.

Agree buggy transfers for the bride and the team’s kit between the villa, the gardens and the ballroom. Those minutes are written into the running order, so the start time is calculated backwards from the ceremony.

Fair questions

What couples ask about Mandarin Oriental.

Raised plainly, because they are reasonable.

“A large guest list — can the bride still have a calm morning?”Big weddings can crowd the bride’s space.
A separate room for family makeupThe bride’s villa stays private; family makeup runs in a second room with extra artists if needed.
“Have you worked at this resort?”It deserves a straight answer.
No, and we say soMorocco is new for the studio. Judge the work here and the written plan.

Questions

Indian wedding makeup at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech.

9 answers specific to Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech. Anything else, ask on WhatsApp.

Do you do Indian bridal makeup at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech?

Yes. Tejaswini’s India-based team flies in and covers bridal makeup, hair and draping for every function, plus family makeup. Flights, visa arrangements and accommodation for the team are paid by the client.

How many guests can Mandarin Oriental Marrakech host for a wedding?

Ask the resort for a capacity table for the exact space and seating arrangement. A standing reception figure should not be used for a seated wedding; allow for the mandap, stage, dance floor and a weather alternative.

How many villas does it have?

54 villas, each with a private pool, plus suites, set in about twenty hectares of gardens.

Where is Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech?

On the Route du Golf Royal, about fifteen minutes from the airport.

Where should the bride get ready?

In her own villa, near the garden doors for daylight, with a second room for family makeup.

Will the makeup work in both the gardens and the ballroom?

Yes — the base is planned for daylight and flash, and the reception look is a deliberate change rather than a touch-up.

When should we book spa treatments?

Discuss timing with the spa and avoid unfamiliar treatments close to the wedding. Recovery time depends on the treatment and your skin; agree a schedule rather than relying on one fixed interval.

Have you worked here before?

No. Morocco is a new destination for the studio.

How do we enquire?

Send the dates, the functions and the number of people needing hair and makeup.
