Frescoed ceilings, two private gardens and a landing on the Grand Canal. Aman Venice is an intimate palazzo wedding with hotel rooms upstairs.

Tejaswini’s studio is in Pune, India, and there is no Italian branch or local stand-in working under her name. She travels for weddings and pre-wedding shoots, arriving ahead of the first function and staying until the last.
Return flights, Schengen visas and accommodation for the team are paid by the client and appear on separate lines of the quote.

Function by function

Lagoon light from every side. A dewy, lightweight base with SPF and hair pinned well clear of the neck.

A party on the water or in a palazzo salon. Shimmer kept to the lids, a set base and hair secured for a boat ride.

Reflected light off the water all afternoon. A satin finish, waterproof eye products and a dupatta pinned at several points.

Venetian glass and candlelight. A refreshed base, a deeper lip and a highlight that glows rather than glares.

A little history
Palazzo Papadopoli was built in the 16th century on the Grand Canal and redecorated over the following centuries, including with frescoes attributed to the school of Tiepolo. It is still partly owned by the descendants of the family who restored it.
Aman opened its hotel here in 2013, with a small number of rooms and suites, salons for dining and two private gardens, which are rare in Venice. It became world-famous in 2014 when George and Amal Clooney married in Venice and stayed here.
For a bride, the advantage is getting ready in a frescoed suite with canal light, a few steps from the salons where the functions happen.
Specific to this venue
The wedding day
We ask for a room with good window light and a second room close by for family makeup, so the bride’s room stays calm.
Family looks run in parallel with the bridal skin prep, timed so nobody waits in the corridor.
Hydration, primer and a base built for soft canal light and warm salon lighting.
Maang tikka, nath and dupatta set with the outfit on, checked from every angle the photographer will use.
First photographs while the makeup is at its freshest, before the busiest part of the day.
One artist stays near the mandap with a touch-up kit: blotting papers, powder, lip and spare pins.
New lip, refreshed eyes and a second hairstyle if planned; allow 60–75 minutes.
