The longest travel leg on this site, so the planning around it is the most deliberate.
Tejaswini travels to Scotland for one wedding at a time, with your dates blocked out end to end including the days either side. She flies into Glasgow, usually via a London or Middle East hub, and stays within easy reach of the first getting-ready address — on a winter morning that may start in complete darkness, a long transfer is not a risk worth taking.
Because the Scottish leg is longer than any English one, the buffer is longer too: she lands two to three clear days before the first function at minimum, never the night before. That covers flight disruption on a two-leg journey, recovery from a long-haul overnight, and leaves room for a physical trial in Glasgow if you want one. Flight details are sent to you in writing once booked.
The kit travels as hand luggage wherever airline rules allow, with duplicates of the critical products split across bags. For Scotland it is packed almost entirely for indoor warm lighting and flash photography, because that is where virtually every function happens. The one exception is the daylight window, which in Scotland moves enormously by season and has to be planned for specifically.
