Punjabi & Sikh
Chooda, kaleere, and a chunni that has to stay put.
The hardest test a bridal look faces: an Anand Karaj, a doli and a late reception inside one day, with the maang tikka expected to sit level under the chunni from the first photograph to the last.
North Indian
The Hindu wedding run, mehndi through reception.
Planned as one arc rather than five unrelated mornings, so each function photographs differently while the bride still reads as herself across the whole album.
Engagement, roka & pre-wedding
The softest work, and where most brides start.
Portrait-led, lighter, and the function where the sheer skin-first approach is most obvious. This is usually the first time a bride sees how a look sits on her own face.
Marwari, Rajasthani & South Indian
Two traditions that live above the eyebrows and below the hairline.
Borla and rakhdi set into a worked odhni for Marwari work; Kanjeevaram, temple jewellery and jasmine for South Indian, with a muhurtham that often begins before sunrise.
Marathi & Maharashtrian
Nauvari, Paithani, the nath and the halad morning.
Her own tradition, and the work the studio is best known for in India. The nath and the hairline anchor everything else in the look.
Reception & evening
The second look, not the touched-up first one.
Where an album either gains a second act or repeats itself. A different lip or eye and a different drape, built for indoor evening light and flash rather than daylight.

These are worked on regularly, but no photographed portfolio set is published for them on this site yet. Rather than fill the gap with images that are not representative, here is what each actually involves. Ask on WhatsApp and examples can be sent to you directly.
GujaratiPanetar and gharchola, which drape nothing like a lehenga. The chandlo, a pithi morning that is meant to be messy, a mandap ceremony measured in hours, and a full change before the garba and reception.
BengaliThe red and white palette and the chandan work, with a saree drape planned so it frames the jewellery rather than competing with it on camera.
SindhiTraditionally lighter and more contemporary than neighbouring North Indian styling, which makes it a natural fit for the sheer, skin-first direction most brides now ask for.
Muslim & Arabic-influencedNikkah and walima styled as two clearly different evenings, with coverage and finish planned around a hijab or dupatta. This one does have its own set — see the Muslim bridal portfolio.
