Chauth ka Barwara · Sawai Madhopur
A 14th-century fort, restored over more than a decade, with two palaces, two temples and 48 suites inside its walls. Fort Barwara has become one of India's most talked-about wedding venues, and it is built for small, private celebrations.

Before you enquire
Tejaswini is based in Pune. Barwara is about two and a half hours by road from Jaipur airport, so she arrives the day before and stays nearby through your functions. Her travel is quoted separately from the looks, so you can see exactly what each part costs.

History
Barwara fort was built by the Chauhans in the 14th century and later passed to the Rajawat family. A descendant restored it with a hospitality group over more than ten years, keeping the two palaces and two temples inside the walls, and it opened as Six Senses Fort Barwara in October 2021.
The fort faces the Chauth Mata temple on the hill opposite and is about half an hour from Ranthambore National Park. Inside, the old women's palace now holds the spa, and the old courtyards and stepwell are used for events.
With 48 suites, weddings here are intimate. That is part of the appeal: the whole fort belongs to the wedding party for a few days.
